This visualization addresses the history of aerospace industry in the past 120 years. The visual content is based on numerical and categorical data of aircrafts that have been archived by the Smithsonian Open API, which provides a review of technological and industrial revolution. Meanwhile, a location-based application with time-based element brings a detailed analysis to tell a story of the whole industry, including how the development trends evolved through different time periods.
